Chairs that are designed or used to serve as both a chair and a pulpit or lectern in a relgious setting; found in the context of Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, and other religions. Examples are chairs having a tall back surmounted by a lectern, so that the chair could be used as a pulpit at open-air services or worship conducted at local houses.
